Our Periodontists

Dr. Donna KlauseróDr. Klauser received her dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she subsequently did her residency in periodontics and implantology, and where she serves as a part-time lecturer in the School of Dentistry. She is also a Lecturer at Pasadena City College Department of Dental Hygiene and is a member of the Board of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.

One measure of a medical professionalís skill is Board Certification. That designation, which Dr. Klauser holds, is recognition by her professional peers that she has attained the highest level of skill within her specialty, as measured by a demanding national test and experience.

Drs. Klauser and Chen are carrying forward a legacy of excellence in a practice that has served  the Arcadia and surrounding communities for more than 60 years.

Dr. Leshin ChenóDr. Chen graduated cum laude from the UCLA School of Dentistry, and did his residency in periodontics there, as well. He holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology and molecular genetics.

His research interests have included wound healing, and the role of insulin-like growth factors on the cells that play an important role in creating the hard material covering the roots of teeth.

Dr. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the California Society of Periodontists. During his time at UCLA, he served as Director of the UCLA Asian Dental Free Clinic. He is currently a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry and a supervising dentist at the Pasadena City College Dental Hygiene Program."

We are pleased to announce that our Dr. Klauser and Dr. Chen have both been awarded "Top Dentist" by the Pasadena Magazine.   Dr. Klauser has also received honors for "Top Dentist' by the magazine.

Dental Facts
U.S. dentists say gum disease is a more pressing oral health concern than tooth decay by a 2-to-1 margin.
