Dr. Donna Klauser
Board Certified Periodontist
Dr. Klauser is a Board Certified Periodontist for over 23 years. She is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (SGVDS). Dr. Klauser has served in the following positions: SGVDS President, Chair of CDA’s Judicial Council, CDA delegate, Chair of American College of Dentists (ACD) Southern California Section, International College of Dentists (ICD) Deputy Regent, recipient of ACD’s Ethics & Professionalism award for CDA’s Judicial Council under her chairship, Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy, ADA’s Institute for Diversity in Leadership Alumni, Founder of CHANGETHERX nonprofit, which donates free Narcan to prevent Fentanyl deaths in our community, co-authored 7 peer reviewed publication in salivary gland research, taught at UCLA School of Dentistry over 13 years, and has taught at local dental hygiene and dental assisting schools. She is active in her specialty organization, AAP, and is dedicated to helping keep your smile healthy.
Dr. Klauser is also the founder of ChangetheRX, a non-profit dedicated to preventing accidental fentanyl poisoning by distributing free NARCAN® and raising awareness of the dangers of opioid overdoses and how to prevent them.
Dr. Leshin Chen
Board Certified Periodontist
Dr. Chen graduated cum laude from the UCLA School of Dentistry, and did his residency in periodontics there, as well. He holds an undergraduate degree in microbiology and molecular genetics.
His research interests have included wound healing and the role of insulin-like growth factors on the cells that play an important role in creating hard material covering the roots of teeth.
Dr. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the California Society of Periodontists. During his time at UCLA, he served as Director of the UCLA Asian Dental Free Clinic. He is currently a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry and a supervising dentist at the Pasadena City College Dental Hygiene.
